The OEC administers the NVQ-J Levels 1 to 5 External Written Assessments (EWA) annually in February, June, and November on behalf of NCTVET and the Ministry of Education and Youth.

Registration, administration of the External Practical/Practicum Assessments (EPA), and collection of certificates are handled directly by NCTVET.
