The OEC has the chief responsibility to facilitate the registration and administration of examinations on behalf of Cambridge International Examinations now named Cambridge Assessment International Education to Associate Centres (Schools) and private candidates in Jamaica sitting the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the alternative to the ordinary level, GCE AS and A‘Level examinations. Entries are only accepted for the June sitting.
