George Taffe – Project Manager
Mr. George Taffe is an accomplished educator and leader with a distinguished career spanning science education and project management. Holding a Bachelor of Education and Master of Education in Chemistry and Science Education from the University of the West Indies, Mr. Taffe has shaped young minds as a veteran chemistry educator at the secondary and post-secondary levels both in Jamaica and internationally.
He further honed his expertise in leadership and technology by earning a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, Management, and Emerging Digital Technologies through an OAS scholarship at MIU City University Miami. Complementing his academic portfolio, Mr. Taffe holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Management from Centennial College, Canada, and a Teaching Diploma from Mico Teachers’ College.
Currently serving as Manager of Document Imaging and Special Projects at the Overseas Examinations Commission (OEC), Mr. Taffe applies his expertise in operational efficiency and strategic planning. Previously, he served as Projects Coordinator, contributing significantly to organizational success.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Taffe is deeply committed to community service. A past member of the Kiwanis Club of Kingston, he also played a foundational role in the Kiwanis Club of Barbican as a chartered member.
