The Overseas Examinations Commission currently proctors exams for medical doctors, who wish to obtain professional UK certification a Surgeon or Physician. This means that those desirous of such certifications are no longer restricted to undertaking a long expensive trip to the United Kingdom to pursue their professional development.
The OEC has partnered with three UK-based Professional certifying bodies for Medical Doctors pursuing Postgraduate Medical Diplomas. Certifications offered through exams facilitated and proctored at the OEC are:
- The Membership of the Royal College (London)
- The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh
- The Federation of the Royal College (Glascow)
